The Agilent Telegra VQT (voice quality tester) adds T1 and E1 interfaces to its existing analog test capabilities. In addition, the Agilent Advisor has a new VQT Undercradle that performs end-to-end voice quality tests, and now offers enhanced RQM (RTP QoS Monitor) analysis of VoIP packets. The Telegra VQT, the industry's most comprehensive analog voice quality tester, now adds T1 and E1 interfaces that support in-band CAS and ISDN PRI signaling. The combination of existing analog and new T1/E1 testing capabilities, along with a comprehensive set of accurate, robust voice quality analysis tools, provides a complete solution for testing voice quality across any telephony network, particularly voice over data.
The VQT Undercradle complements the Agilent Advisor's LAN, WAN and ATM testing capabilities by offering network device manufacturers, service providers, network operators and telephony carriers a comprehensive suite of end-to-end test and analysis systems for voice transmissions over emerging IP systems and networks. The VQT Undercradle makes the Agilent Advisor ready to test any technology in the voice and data packet network, including ATM, Fast Ethernet, Frame Relay or analog interfaces.
RQM software for Agilent Advisor measures IP packet performance of VoIP networks, including packet loss and jitter for each session or conversation using RTP to transport voice or video. These latest enhancements allow users to analyze VoIP networks and network elements, such as gateways.
