The AdamTech PCA and PCB Series of zero and low insertion force connectors is now available from Methode Electronics Europe for use in flexible printed circuit and flexible flat cable applications.

The PCA Series of zero insertion force connectors come in 0.3, 0.5, 0.8 and 1mm surface mount (SM) versions, as well as 1, 1.25 and 2.5mm through-hole with further options in both styles of 0.039 and 0.049in pin pitches.

The PCB connectors come in 2.54mm SM and 1, 1.25 and 2.54mm TH versions with a 0.049 or 0.1in pin pitch. Both series feature top or side entry, and a slotted body style for flat flexible cable insertion. An alternative individual socket version is available for solid or fused stranded wires.
