In the occasion of the Home Networking Industry Forum, Xilinx presented Xilinx eSP: the first software that accelerates the cycle consumer products design and development.

The operation also constitutes a rich source of information that includes tutorials on technologies; the synthesis on the evolution of the markets; the system block diagrams; the White Papers; the updating of the standards; the links to companies; various glossaries and consultant lists. An online forum for designers with direct access to experts is also available.

At first efforts will focus on Home Networking, later to continue to expand in the first three months of  2001 with a second area dedicated to Bluetooth applications.

It is a significant investment, both in terms of time and resources, to further study and understanding of the complex specifications of new standards and protocols (often they are over 1.000 pages). The company also offers very complete tutorials on the new standards in an easy- to grasp format.

Xilinx is partner of a wide number of market experts, producers of ASSP (Application Specific Standard Product) and developers of IP  (Intellectual Property) modules to design, supply and support reference hardware modules for emerging specific standards.

Reference projects have been tailor made to accelerate the development of products, though satisfying the ties of flexibility and price of the required final applications. The reference project USB2.0 is an example of innovative technology. Detailed training is given for system designers, and the complete solution.
