10,2 billion electronic components
In 2001 French enterprises have purchased electronic components for 10,2 billion euro. This is the result of a survey by Decision which also evidences that electronic components consumption has increased more rapidly in France compared to EU average in the past few years.Of the 10,2 billion components bought in 2001, 6,9 billion were used by companies for activities engaged in France, whereas the remaining figure was destined to foreign plants of the companies, those basically that maintaining the centrality of purchases have de-located their manufacturing.
