With the introduction of this new function, the International network of web2CAD portals widens PowerParts's functions significantly, meeting work requirements of designers as well as commercial ones of manufacturers ever more. PowerParts Search permits the search for components not only by manufacturing companies but also and especially by product features. This way the designer can compare, choose and download, with just a few clicks, components of various companies depending on the type of product needed.

Also, designers work is now easier and International distribution of CAD catalogues by companies are even easier, owing to the great download functions created and inserted on the parametric engine PowerParts. The new 3 version allows the direct insertion of CAD drawings, selected in PowerParts, in PTC software, SolidWorks and SolidEdge, as well as the Autodesk software, which has already been available for some time, making web2CAD directly compatible with the greatest part of professional CAD software programs.
