Ultrasonic flowmeter for high-purity liquids
Designed for high-purity liquids such as deionized water and weak chemical solutions, the UPT868 Ultra-Pure Flow clamp-on system provides straight-through flow while it maintains 100 percent sealed integrity.
The flow tube unit is a PVC block with an ultrasonic transducer fixed at each end. The fluid is carried by PFA tubing running through the block. Using the flow tube as a waveguide, the transducers send and receive signals from each other. A transmitter processes the signals and displays the flow rate.
