In the United Kingdom, during autumn 2001, there will be a series of informative days and workshops dedicated to the redaction of proposals in the “Energy” program context of the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5)

Topics dealt with concern: the contents of the last invite related to the "Energy" program (the deadline for which is the 14th of December), prospects of evaluation, results obtained so far by the FP5, reasons for success and failure, as well as the Sixth Framework Programme.

The events, that will divide between the informative days and the workshops, will take place the 11th of September in London, the 13th of September in Leeds, the 18th of September in Glasgow, the 30th of October in London and the 1st of November in Edinburgh.

Representatives of the European Commission will take part in the informative days. Among other speakers there will be the representatives of the British Department of Trade and Industry and of Energie Helpline (United Kingdom).
