Maintenance of electric systems

The maintenance, a moment in the life of a system, must be carried out during the utilization of the same to maintain performance and safety levels constant, as well as to reduce management costs as much as possible respecting current legislations.

As is known, maintenance includes important aspects for which there are many categories concerned: engineers, installers, service engineers, testers. These are categories which, together with their reference Associations, have formulated comments and improving observations to the original text that was submitted to them.

The Guide's project can thus be considered completed in the various aspects concerning maintenance and also, moreover, those of everyday practice.

CEI's Workgroup, once gathered the observations received within the deadline of the past 15th of September, is actively working on the preparation of the final document which will be published in January 2002.
