Cei makes available the first divulging guide concerning aerial systems for television and interactive services, created with the collaboration of Anaci, Anie, Cna, Confartigianato, Eurosatellite, Politecnico di Torino, Rai and Scuola Digitale Satellite.

The Guide was created with the aim to provide condominium administrators and house owners a clear and brief tool, to be checked before carrying out the designing and the installation of cable distribution systems for TV, sound and interactive services signals.

Suggestions, recommendations, listings of Norms and Regulations have as their primary objective the respect of essential requisites of functionality and safety which, on the basis of Law 46/90, are satisfied in a complete and adequate way, whether regulations from competent technical organisms respected, particularly Cei ones. The innovative characteristic of this publication is that it is not made for experts who have to apply the regulations, but to buyers and end users who have to verify that the norms have been applied.

For this purpose the language used is simplified and understandable even by those who are not experts of the sector. Also, this volume contains the guidelines to help the buyer in the choice of systems, in the checking of essential requisites and in the completion of all the bureaucracy involved.

The technical and executive Guidelines within concern centralised systems for the distruibutiobn of analogue and/or digital signals from apartments to residential settlements. These respond to the need to define the relationship between private purchaser and installer.

Particularly important, to this end, are the executive recommendations that concern the entire creation process of the systems: from the choice of materials, to the design and the carrying out of works and testing, until the laws and technical regulations to refer to. Also to be pointed out are the fac-simile relating to the price estimates, contracts and tenders on the basis of which to establish clear relations between installers and purchasers as far as prices, works, tests and guarantees are concerned.

With the completion of the studies underway for via- wireless radio distribution systems inside apartments, TV, radio and interactive services operators and users, will have available, all the technical regulations and the necessary recommendations to be able to dispose of an integrated high quality and security system to use the offered services.
