The guide, "BUS systems in buildings valuable for their historical and artistic relevance" (ex C. 800 project) was compiled by CEI’s SC 83A (that will change its denomination to CT 205).The volume takes into consideration public or private buildings, valuable for art and history from an architectonic or contents point of view, destined to living purposes (for example castles, villas), to religion (cathedrals, churches), to state-owned assets (palaces used as offices), to libraries, museums, archives, theatres, etcetera, in which often the electric system needs to be redone or brought up to date according to the new safety prescriptions.
For this reason CEI 64-15 suggests solutions for electric systems with less environmental consequence towards structures and works that are object of safeguard; it takes into consideration, already from the pre-stages of the project, all the most updated techniques; it proposes itself also as a reference for the laying out of contracts of electric systems that use BUS technologies in the valuable buildings for historical and/or artistic relevance.
Other information concerning the BUS systems are to be found in the Regulations Series EN 50090 and Technical Reports, useful complements and guides to the reading of the Regulations. To these, also those being edited by TC 205 Cenelec will be added.
The CEI 83-11 Guide is on sale at the CEI and CEI Webshop for the cover price of Lit. 130.000
