The system, one of the most authoritative in Italy, has quickly become an international value mark spreading over 32 European and Non European countries.Further to such success the system's promoters, among which CSQ, are aiming to extend the significance of the certification, going beyond the narrow domain of online transactions for which it was originally conceived. Qweb’s new dimension was presented the 13th of June in Venice’s Chamber of commerce within an event which, with the added support of the EU in the context of the eEurope programme, has finally defined its relevance at an International level.
QWeb, thus conceived, also works as an assurance for reliability of the software used by a company and the entire corporate organization. This way customers and companies will be able to engage, more safely, in online business transactions or enjoy Web based services when the partner’s site uses the Qweb mark. Basically the new QWeb sees three levels of certification (One star, Two stars, Three stars) permitting companies to grow when they evolve from e-commerce activities to more complex e-business operations.
