Mobile controlled heating

Every day domotics moves a step ahead, often even two. And one of the wishes of this segment of technological research is precisely that of remote controlling of home systems. In heating, for example, what could be better than being able to activate it also from the outside, just before reaching the house? Thus Riellonet was created, an intelligent heating system which can be controlled with your mobile.

The project was completed owing to the association between Riello spa, Italian leader in the communications sector and Telecom Italia Mobile, the first Italian mobile telecommunications operator.

Riellonet permits the remote controlling of all the functions of a centralised heating system through a GSM mobile phone. To impart the commands that control a boiler it will be enough to send a simple SMS message. The message sent by the phone is sorted to the heat managers or to a service centre which will activate the required functions. Also Tim has made the message compatible with internet applications so as to make the boiler control possible via web as well.
