Modules and chassisNational Instruments has announced PXI-1011, a 12 slot chassis that combines the tested conditioning technology of SCXI signals with the PXl/CompactPCI modular instrument platform.
This combined chassis gives a powerful platform for those who deal with computer based measurements and automation for the development of integrated systems.
The PXI-1011 chassis, sturdy and low-noise, integrates four PXI/CompactPCI slots with eight SCXI slots and was designed to make data acquisition, tests and measurement and industrial control applications, with a high number of channels.
For data acquisition systems, PXI-1011 includes in one single chassis the efficacy of data-acquisition plug-in modules with the flexibility of SCXI signals conditioning modules. In this system, up to 256 temperature, pressure, deformation, tension, current or frequency channels. It is also possible to add general-purpose isolated and relay digital I/0 modules to monitor and control external devices.
