With the Powernet EIB ABB system, it is possible to control and program the operation of all the electric devices present in a building. It can be installed in existing systems without the need to lay further cables and therefore it is the ideal solution in domestic environments, in the small tertiary sector and, in particular, in all restoring works where it is not desirable, or it is not permitted, to carry out brickwork (historical and monumental buildings, and of particular artistic value).

With the technique of the channeled waves, all signals and commands are transmitted in high frequency through the same electric conductors that already existing in the system; this permits the use of a wide variety of integrated system functions, which are feasible with difficulty with traditional devices. Owing to this it is very simple to bring to levels of excellence comfort and security, making at the same time energy consumption much more economical.

Among the main functions, lighting control, acclimatization management, specific security sensors management, automatic closing/opening of curtains and blinds according to preset environmental parameters (external luminosity, strength of wind and other), remote control of systems.
