PLC Simatic S7-300C

Compact with integrated periphery, completes the range of the PLC S7-300 family. It is the new SIMATIC S7-300C made by Siemens’ Automation and Drives (A&D) department.

With three new CPUs scalable for capacity of storage, of quantity and type of integrated periphery, this PLC offers the user different configurations that include digital and analog inputs and outputs, encoder inputs and frequency outputs for the command of the step-by-step  engines, serial interface or 12 Mbits/Sec DP. The use of a Micro Memory Card is innovative: as well as substituting the battery it is readable and writable with the CPU in RUN and, therefore, carries out data storing functions, which can be used, for example, for recipes, positioning quotas.

Small, fast, economical and ecological, SIMATIC S7-300C covers the band between the SIMATIC S7-200 and the modular SIMATIC S7-300, thus becoming the Entry Level SIMATIC in the world of Totally Integrated Automation (TIA)

SIMATIC  S7-300C is an innovative controller since it surpasses previous CPUs from the point of view of performance, improving on elaborating times up to a 1 to 3 ratio, for example between the 314C CPU and the 314IFM CPU. Class C requires three different CPUs (312-C, 313-C and 314-C) with a work storage of 16Kbyte, 32Kbyte and 48Kbyte and a wide range of integrated inputs and outputs.

All of this in 120 mm length, 40 mm in more than current CPUs without peripheries. In this space, the CPU 314C-2PtP offers 24 digital inputs and 16 outputs, 4 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs, 4 fast counters up to a maximum of 60KHz and  4 impulse outputs for the command of step-by-step engines.
