Monitoring and control of industrial solutions

Three FieldPoint modules, by National Instruments, finalized to the monitoring and control of industrial applications, enable the connection of live inputs, the counting of impulses by absorption devices and the management of encoders in squaring.

The FieldPoint analog output module, FP-AO-210, makes available some programmable tension outputs. The eight channel module generates analog tensions variable between 0 and 12 V using a 12 bit digital-analog converter, and has input and output converters, detection and protection against short-circuits or open circuits, overrange, HotPnP  Plug and Play functions as well as possessing onboard diagnostic functions that simplify installation  and maintenance of the card itself.

The counting module FP-CTR-502 has a eight 16 bit 50 kHz counters, with clock inputs that can function in different counter modes. The module operates with 5 to 30 V c.c. absorption devices, among which devices in TTL and CMOS technologies, and has functions such as low-pass filters that can be configured for counting inputs, cascade counting channels and internal frequency references.

The encoder input module in FP-QUAD-51 0 framework of National Instruments enables the connection to the four input channels of encoders in squaring both differential and single-ended. The module measures the position and the speed in both rotation directions with a frequency up to 1 MHz on all four channels. The encoder module has four 32 bit independent position counters.
