Contents for sites and portalsWith the birth and affirmation of the internet as new communication media, the age of contents has opened up. The web, with its characteristics of flexibility and interactivity is an extraordinary means to communicate efficiently with one’s audience, as long as the possibility of updating constantly one’s own website or portal exists, offering constantly new images and news.
It has to be kept in mind that the Internet can be accessed daily, and so it is clear that too many days in a row where the same contents are offered on a favourite web site’s home page can bring to a disaffection from it .
When we mention contents for the internet we must always consider the characteristics of this new media. In particular it must be kept in mind that reading and vision is done via the pc monitor, often in the office. This means that the contents must be concise, incisive and clear in their exposition. Therefore they will be different contents from those normally used for printed press, television or any other traditional media.
