An international marketplace for the industrySix months form the official inauguration of the service offered by SourcingParts.com, international marketplace for the world of mechanics and industrial sub supply made to order, the platform can already count with great names among its customers: Alstom Power, Legrand, Schneider in France; Vatech, Eisenwerk Böhmer, Reifenhäuser in Germany; Alusuisse Liebherr and Hug in Switzerland; Schindler in the Czech Republic.
As many other minor enterprises, also these grate Groups use this platform to find sub suppliers with specific competencies for their requirements of pieces made to order. Today the totalised figures are: 200 offer requests transited on the platform, for a total of 1.800.000 Euro; each offer request has obtained, on average, 4,7 replies (the first within 48 hours), with a saving of 16% on the price list.
And still: 32.000 suppliers are review on the platform, in representation of 10 industrial sectors (processing to removal and deformation, plastic technology, foundry, assembly, electric/electronic, packaging, heat treatment, metrology, surface treatment). Within the end of the year it is expected the suppliers’ package will double, and 600 active purchasers will be reached, who will have used the platform’s services.
