An "electronic" association
The ANIE federation, founded in 1945 and part of Confindustria, represents 900 enterprises that operate in Italy in the electro-technical and electronic industry. Inside there are 15 associations, 3 Consortiums and INTEL association. Among these the National Association of Electronic Components.Part of this association are the manufacturers of Discreet Semiconductors, Integrated Circuits, Hybrid Circuits, Cathode Tubes, Condensers, Resistors, Inducers, Connectors, Electronic Relays and Printed Circuits and the Electronic Cards Assemblers Group.
Representing a sector counting over 10.000 operators and proceeds for about 5.000 billion lira, the association has two concern areas: one strategic-political and communication, one technical-administrative, offering associates specialist supports in financial, technical, regulation, legal, communication subjects to strengthen company competitiveness.
Part of EECA, the European Electronic Components Producers Association, the Italian context, chaired by Ennio Sangalli of Philips Spa, has the objective of protecting financial, technical-regulative and image aspects of the category and Members, through the elaboration of strategies to favor the expansion of the sector through the development of new products and advanced technologies; the direct and indirect organization of research and studies, debates and conventions on general interest topics for the category; the promotion and organization of auxiliary activities of transversal interest; the unitary representation of the category in the seats of financial politics elaboration seats on a National and European level; the unitary representation of the category at technical regulation Boards on a national and International levels.
Finally the National Association of Electronic Components elaborates strategies that will favor the development of new products and advanced technologies, to carry out researches, studies, conventions on general interest topics for the department it represents and representing the department in financial politics elaboration seats and boards for technical regulation on a National and International level.
