Mediocredito Centrale and Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau have signed a cooperation agreement for Italian and German companies development concerning mutual cooperation between the two banks to support integration between the two countries’ economy.

The agreement presupposes the interchange of information: on the state of affairs and the development of the two countries' financial situation, and the sectors in which it will be possible to create joint ventures between Italian and German companies, promoting at the same time information concerning grants opportunities offered in Italy and Germany.

Mediocredito and Kreditanstalt are together committed to promote development and capitalisation of small medium companies through the financing of direct investments in Italy, Germany and third party countries.

The agreement aims, in general, to the financing of wide scope projects and Italian and German exports, the economy of the countries as well as Europe in general. These projects can be financed also in cooperation with other banks.
