Electric power supply filters

The sole indication of the current the filter can withstand is a not a sufficient element to select the type of filter.

The three-phase series 84x by Cogema offers a sturdy container and electric connections made with high level materials.

In terms of performance there are various types of filtering, more limited in the 842 and 843 series, more effective in the 844 and 845 series; there are versions with or without filters on neutral.

The escape currents ate contained in two classes, the first lower than 3,5 mA, the second lower than 100 mA, they consent the choice of the filter with the best attenuation compatibly with the characteristics of the protection devices towards the ground of the system.

These filters are mass produced up to 200 A, and for voltage up to 440 V. Their assembly can be carried out in two ways, according to the space available in the electric panel.
