Owing to the presence of Icube, a company born of the Imq-Iram-Its meeting, directly settled into the territory and to the bilateral agreement signed with the Iram corporation, Imq can offer substantial facilitations for companies willing to export electric material, household appliances and electronic devices into Argentina.To obtain the Iram mark (obligatory in accordance to Resolucion 92 from 1998), Imq handles both the preliminary visit to the interested plant, and the carrying out of the Type tests (according to Iec regulations and to possible deviations from Argentine regulations, requested, in reality, only for very limited number of products), and the ensuing surveillance. For products that are already Imq certified, the procedure is definitely easier. In this case the visit to the plant and testing on the products are not repeated a part from any possible Argentine deviations) and Imq just sends a copy of the appropriate conformity declaration (D.A.T.) to the Argentine corporation. The Argentine corporation then sends the official approval to Imq so that the product may carry the Iram mark and therefore be entered into the Argentine market in accordance to Resolucion 92 of 1998, without any difficulties.
