Factory Show and Components Show, novelties in Intel 2003 (20-24 May, Fiera Milano) will give more visibility to exhibitors of the reference sectors and are an addition to the already known World Light Show (lighting), Building Show (from installation material to domotics), Power Show (production, transmission and distribution of electric energy).Factory Show will further expand and valorize the section dedicated to industrial automation, a market that in 2001, in Italy, reached 3.130 million euro (+2,6% compared to the year before). Of these, automation departments of the manufacturing industry (production of instrument and consumption goods) and the remote control of public utility networks are over 60%; the remaining 40% concerns automation for the process industry. This market is completed by the electric motors sector, with 80 companies for an overall revenue of 350 million euro. Factory Show, specifically, will offer the best of variable speed electric actuators, electric motors, motion control, PLC, industrial PC, operator interface, field bus, SCADA.
Components Show, which will valorize components, will offer visitors an exhaustive overview of all the necessary elements for the manufacturing of the finished product. In that context there will be, among others: electromechanical components, textile and plastic; sub-systems; condensers; power supplies; apparel switches; terminal boards and connectors; motors, pumps and compressors for small and large appliances; programmers; relays; resistors; control boards; dialogue and communication; low power transformers; fans. In the context of Intel 2003, which offers complete solutions to those interested in domotics, Components Show will be complementary to the other sectors of the fair.
The event will be the natural evolution of the Confortec Components project, which was launched in 2001 and was reserved to the components for appliances sector. In Italy, there are 1.300 companies that operate in components, with a turnover of about 6 billion euro, and they represent over 50% of European production. 73,4% of these companies are small and medium enterprises with revenues lower than 15 million euro and with a strong representation in Northern Italy (76,4%) and in Lombardia (57%) in particular. Of these, 37% produce electromechanical, electronic, electric and passive components for appliances.
Intel 2003 will benefit from promotional support by ANIE federate associations (which adheres to Confindustria), as well as FNGDME (Federazione Nazionale Grossisti Distributori Materiale Elettrico) and ARAME (Associazione Rivenditori e Agenti di Materiale Elettrico).
Specifically, for the two new areas, Asso Automazione and ASDE (Associazione Distribuzione di Energia) will collaborate for the Factory Show; ASDE, Associazione Nazionale Componenti Elettronici and Associazione Nazionale Industrie Apparecchi Domestici e Professionali will promote the Components Show.
