 Italian delegation in Automechanika 2002
From the 17th to the 22nd of September 2002 Frankfurt will host the 'Automechanika' trade fair, an appointment that has taken on world dimensions in its past editions, dedicated to the car industry, as well as components, spare parts, accessories and equipment for workshops and garages.In relation with the event, which in year 2000 had occupied a surface of 300 thousand square meters and saw over 3 thousand exhibitors – of which 2.632 National and 1.277 International (Italians were 629), from 64 Countries – and 15 thousand professional visitors, the Istituto italiano del Commercio con l'Estero will organise a collective delegation of Italian companies.
The share of foreign guests was around 40 per cent, higher compared to the previous editions. The economic crisis, which struck Germany throughout 2000-2001, is about to be slowly surpassed. Albeit slow, the reprise of internal demand should enable good market prospects for the sector’s companies. Italy, in fact, with France, Austria and Great Britain, remains an important country from which to import car spare parts and accessories. June.2002 Automechanika
