Territory monitoring technologies are at the centre of the National Operative Safety Programme for the Development of the South of Italy, illustrated precisely at Sicurezza Mediterranea 2001 by the Public Safety Department of the Home Office, present with a stand. The programme, which means an investment in the 2000-2006 period of about 2.200 billion lira, wants to create safety conditions in the South, using the most innovative technologies, of similar standard as the rest of the Country.
