 Multifunction calibrator
The battery-powered MCX II is the successor to the MCX portable calibrator and uses its predecessor’s rugged packaging with a control panel that contains a dual menu display and keypad.
The control panel rotates for easier viewing. The instrument has over 90 input/output ranges for pressure, temperature, electrical, and frequency parameters. As an example of the ease of operation, a thermocouple calibration is said to take only 5 minutes with the MCX II automatically generating ISO 9000 quality compliant procedures and results.
A 1 MB memory card stores data permanently. Also available is a HART communicator card which simplifies the digital field calibration of smart transmitters. This makes the handheld communicator unnecessary for sensor and analogue trimming. A fully documented "smart" calibration can be done in 10 minutes. |
