480V Schottky diodes

Microsemi,(distributed by Dimac Red S.r.l.), manufacturer of discreet semiconductors, offers the UPSC 148 device, a 1 Amp, 480 Volt Schottky diode in the low profile Powermite package (1mm height).

Generally, Schottky diodes operate at a voltage of about 100 Volt, but the company technologies have permitted the production of this device indicated especially for applications where a high power commutation speed is required, in telecommunications and system electro-medical equipment.

Powermite’s innovative package permits the dispersion of power of some watt in SMT technology with reduced size (about 2x2mm), comparable to those of the SOT-23 package.
