Available in ratings up to 7.5kW, the new motors may be exposed to high pressure washdown with caustic solutions, and are ideal for any automation requiring high initial torques such as mixing and pumping machinery.Available in totally-enclosed fan-cooled or non-ventilated enclosure versions, the new Baldor Paint Free Inverter Drive Motor is available from stock, in a wide choice of frame sizes.
The motors are designed specifically for use with variable frequency drives, and Baldor supplies them complete with lab-tested 'matched performance' curves showing peak and continuous torque, maximum speed and current, and more.
Other features include the use of inverter spike resistant magnet wire providing high reliability and flexibility over physical positioning; cast endplates; stainless steel motor frames, base, shaft and hardware; and sealed ball bearings with moisture resistant grease.
