2.5 Gbit connections

Completing their line of connectors, Fiber Optics have announced the availability of a new type of transceiver. This is the 2.5 Gbit SFF 1G/2G device, offered in three versions and conforming to the Fiber Channel regulation for 1.0625 and 2.125 Gbps speeds.

All the devices, which operate at 3.3 V., use the optical interface connector LC Molex and occupy half space, on the printed circuit, compared to standard overall dimensions.

To optimize features, in terms of interference, a specific mechanical design was created for the four sides of the container.
