Fiberoptic sensor amplifiers

The FS-V10 Series of photoelectric fiberoptic sensor amplifiers by S.C. Automazione features a dual monitoring system and the employment of both Automatic and Manual Calibration modes. The dual monitoring system consists of both digital and bar LED indicators to simplify setup and alignment. At a glance the user can view the intensity level of the received light on the digital LED indicator, as well as the detection stability level on the bar graph LED.

With the Automatic and Manual Calibration modes, even inexperienced users can obtain a high degree of accuracy. Additionally, the FS-V10 Series combines the benefits of high power with high accuracy and extraordinary versatility. Its design is based on the use of the company's proprietary 20-bit concurrent processor chip combined with a 12-bit A/D converter.

When operating in the TURBO or SUPER TURBO modes, automatic Interference Prevention allows up to 8 fiber units to be mounted side-by-side without mutual interference. The AUTO SET button provides the initial calibration and the MANUAL ADJUSTMENT button permits fine adjustments and "tweaking" to facilitate very precise adjustments.

Each Keyence Tough-Flex fiber unit contains in a diameter of 66 µm a core of 217 core fibers which can withstand a 2 mm bend radius with no loss of light intensity.
