Mouse sensor

For the launch on the market of its wireless optic mouse MouseMan, Logitech has joined forces with Agilent’s to create a third generation proprietary optic chip, with low energy consumption and a resolution of 800 dots per inch (dpi), twice that of optical sensors of the previous generation.
The low energy consumption was one of the essential parameters to create a new generation mouse technology that would enable the user to approach the computer with greater simplicity.

This third generation mouse optical sensors offers an unprecedented extremely low energy consumption, and a better precision in mouse surfing.

One of the most prominent features of the new optical wireless MouseMan ottico is the freedom of calculation. Agilent, a pioneer in empowering mouse sensors technology has supplied, up to today, over twenty million optical sensors for wired mice.
